INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE CONCLUDED
6On November 6, 2025, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov through the digital system “Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex”, organized by this higher education institution in collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture and Education of Turkmenistan. Students, professors, and scientists of higher education institutions of our country, as well as representatives of prestigious higher education institutions of foreign countries attended this conference. The students, professors and scientists of the People's Republic of China, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia, Malaysia, as well as representatives of similar scientific and educational institutions with which the Turkmen Agricultural University cooperates represent their countries and institutions.
The participants of the conference first got acquainted with the exhibition of products produced in the country's agro-industrial complex, various fields of agricultural science, and scientific projects to implement the Sustainable Development Goals, organized here. It presented works submitted to the scientific and design exhibition competition “Scientific youth are the future of our state”, organized on the Harvest Festival, jointly organized by the Turkmen Agricultural University and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
As noted in the speeches made at the plenary session of the conference, in the days leading up to the glorious 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality in the Year of International Peace and Confidence, on the threshold of the Harvest Festival, the holding of the international scientific and practical conference "Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex" and the issues discussed at it are of particular significance. This conference created ample opportunities to exchange views on the scientific foundations of achieving sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex, which is considered one of the main conditions for ensuring food security and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as important areas of training specialists in this field.
Then the conference continued in 3 sections: "Agronomy, horticulture and ecology", "Economics and management in the agro-industrial complex, humanitarian, mathematical sciences, agricultural engineering", "Innovative technologies in food industry, aquaculture, zootechnics and veterinary medicine, light industry". The historical events of the International Year of Peace and Confidence are closely related to the tasks of sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex were noted there. Through the digital system "Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex", participants of the international scientific and practical conference expressed their gratitude to our Honorable President and Hero Arkadag, who is at the forefront of such great achievements and far-sighted agricultural reforms.
