Hydromelioration
887The establishment of the faculty is linked to the state-wide large-scale land meliorative program. Until 1966, the training of hydraulic engineers was carried out in the Hydromeliorative department within the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization.
The Faculty of Hydromelioration was established in 1966. The faculty trains melioration engineers and land engineers in 2 specialties:
- Hydromelioration;
- Land construction and cadastre.
In order to make effective use of the professional skills and improve their scientific and pedagogical experience of the teachers who teach the courses provided in the curricula of their specialties, they are widely involved in research. It requires the introduction of new technologies in the agricultural sector of the country, the implementation of new reforms, the training of civil engineers, as well as the development of land engineers, using the advanced technologies of the water-saving world in various forms of the agricultural sector of the country. Students need to improve their skills in organizing and managing water management enterprises in our country, conducting systematic analyzes, and efficient use of agricultural lands.
There are four departments in the faculty:
- Agricultural melioration;
- Hydrotechnical constructions;
- Technology of hydromeliorative works;
- Land resources;
