Processing of agricultural products

The Faculty of Processing of agricultural products was established in 1995. The faculty trains engineering technologists in 4 specialties:
  • Fruit and vegetables processing;
  • Meat and dairy products processing;
  • Seed processing;
  • Vegetable oil production.
There is a lot of work being done at our university to ensure students to become highly qualified professionals. Students are more likely to be in the learning and production practices in accordance with the curriculum and to develop their professional skills. In the leading enterprises of our country, under the guidance of teachers and tutors, the student youth are deeply involved to the work carried out in the enterprise, combining the technologies of production with the knowledge of the working rules of technological equipment in the field of production the theoretical knowledge acquired in the study. In order to make effective use of the professional skills and improve their scientific and pedagogical experience of the teachers who teach the courses provided in the curricula of the preparatory areas, they are widely involved in research.
  • There are currently three departments in the faculty:
  • Department of Processing of agricultural products;
  • Department of Processing of animal husbandry;
  • Department of General Chemistry.
