CEREMONY ON THE DAY OF KNOWLEDGE AND STUDENTS, AND THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR
4On September 1, 2025, a festive ceremony dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and Students, as well as the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year, was held at Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov. The “First Bell” ceremony began with the performance of the State Anthem of Turkmenistan. At the beginning of the event, the congratulatory message of the Honorable President to the schoolchildren, students, teachers, and all education workers of Independent and Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan was read with great pride.
During the speeches, congratulations were expressed on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the Day of Knowledge and Students, and the start of the new academic year.
— As Arkadagly Hero-Serdar emphasized, the celebrations of the Day of Knowledge and Students bring unforgettable moments into the lives of our teachers and all education workers, who sincerely devote themselves to raising the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and humanism, of our happy youth — the future of the country, and of our entire people. On this occasion, in the International Year of Peace and Trust, dozens of modern educational institutions equipped with advanced technologies are being inaugurated, including the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. This day is also unforgettable for students who are beginning their studies in professional institutions, — the speeches noted.
In the new academic year, 600 first-year students were admitted to Turkmen Agricultural University.
An exhibition of the university’s achievements, scientific projects, the books of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, as well as agricultural products, was organized at the event venue. First-year students visited the exhibition, the university’s museum, and training centers. In the afternoon, performances by the “Altyn Asyr” cultural center were held with the participation of freshmen.
The participants emphasized that knowledge is a source of renewal, progress, and creativity, and sincerely wished health, long life, and further success to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, who are raising the Turkmen education system to new heights and contributing to the prosperity of our beloved Homeland.
